We are based in Tucson, but gladly travel to your choice of residence during your stay.

Ash Canyon B and B
When in the Huachuca Mountains, you simply must visit Mary Jo's Hummingbird Haven. Not only does she have many hummers with the star being the Lucifer Hummingbird, she has a feeder station that has hosted almost every species found in the Huachucas.

There's a map and GPS coordinates on her web site.  Please take a look before going so you won't need to ask for directions.  When you visit Mary Jo's place, you may encounter two new gates on Spring Road.  The first is marked "Private Road." There's a "No Trespassing" sign next to the second gate, which refers to the property to the south of Mary Jo's, and not to the road.  Mary Jo's birding friends are always welcome -- just leave the gates as you found them.  Please drive slowly through the neighborhood.  Parking is limited to six spaces on her property.  No RVs.  It is important not to disturb the neighbors.  Please do not slam your car doors and keep your voices down as much as possible.  Losing this area would be a terrible loss to the birding community. Turn off the beeps and horns on your car!!

A $5 donation is requested.  If you can see your way, a little extra in the kitty is very much appreciated.

There are no toilet facilities. The nearest toilet is the composting toilet in the first FS campground on Miller Canyon Road, not far beyond the cattle guard.

Battiste's Bed and Breakfast
Tony and Julie's  B & B is perfect for those that cannot just get up and go. The birding from the yard and the size of the B & B afford them to be able to pay special attention to those that need a little extra assistance and Tony just thrives on being able to show  the birds in the yard. The Elf Owl is his baby. They are not big, but offer themselves as little or as much as  guests want. They  have a little piece of heaven here and  love to be able to share it.  They are located at the base of Miller Canyon in Hereford, AZ.  Minutes away from Ash, Carr and Ramsey Canyon.

Casa de San Pedro
Located in Hereford outside of Sierra Vista, this is one of the great Bed and Breakfasts in this area.  Patrick and Karl do a great job.

Chuparosa Inn
A lovely Bed and Breakfast set near the top of Madera Canyon.  Lots of hummers along with the hospitality.

D D Gamble Guest Lodge
DD Gamble Guest Lodge is located 18 miles south of Portal and sits on 325 acres of undeveloped desert land.  Willow Tank is close by.  The lodge offers 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 10 people.  They provide all meals.  Pet are welcome at no extra charge .

Dos Cabezas Spirit and Nature Retreat
DOS CABEZAS SPIRIT AND NATURE RETREAT is a unique bed and breakfast conveniently located just 14 miles southeast of Willcox, AZ, on Hwy. 186. It's just 20 minutes to the Chiricahua National Monument and this historical setting makes a great home base for birding, hiking, star gazing and ghost towning. 520-384-6474.

Double K Ranch

Greetings from our beautiful Sonoran Desert! The Depot Room is the perfect setting for the independent, make-ones-own-schedule, desert loving visitor:  Birders, cyclists, hikers, photographers and cacti huggers.  Nearby natural Oasis, trails, sahuaros and mountains.  For the train enthusiast, model trains, garden railway and more.

Well equipped and well stocked kichenette, private bath with shower, private patio, desert-mountain views.  Queen bed and two twins (trundle), Wi-fi and cable TV. Rate: $125.00 per night.  Weekly rate is available.

George Walker House

Paradise. . . what a name for a place to live and/or visit.   And paradise it is with so many birds. This is probably the most reliable place to visit for the Juniper Titmouse.   The Bed and Breakfast is fabulous and the surrounding to die for.  Jackie and Winston go out of their way to make your visit more than expected.  Highly recommended!!!!

Madera Kubo
Another Bed and Breakfast in Madera Canyon.  I always feel so welcome when I visit here.  They are in the heart of the canyon and the birds twitter incessantly.  Truly a birding haven.

Midtown Casitas
Charming casitas midtown, close to Speedway and Columbus.  Reasonably priced if you plan to stay a few days.

Santa Rita Lodge
The new proprietor is doing some very good things with the birds first and foremost on his mind.  The birding is coming back to its former glory.

Sonoita Inn
SPECIAL BIRDING PACKAGE:  Sunday-Wednesday $145.00, includes a bottle of wine upon check-in, dinner for two at the Steak-Out ($30.00 gift certificate), bed and breakfast.

Ventana Condo

This condo belongs to a client of mine.  If you are looking for a place to stay for a month or more. . . this just might fit the bill.  Shorter rentals are also available.  It is located about 1 mile from Sabino Canyon.
